Course location: Andrioti School, Corfu, Greece
This course is fully organized by the provider in Greece (OID: E10186301) with full translation and assistance of Slovak lecturers, who are dedicated to the participants throughout the course content and are their delegates also at travel to and from the mobility. All translation and administrative requirements are adequately taken care of during the preparation and implementation of the mobility.
– Added value: sea air, afternoon collecting authentic materials in the historical parts of the island, tasting of local Greek specialties and guided tour and group trip to unforgettable Albania with its beautiful culture.

Block – Creating interactive maps in teaching and AI elements for the needs of an ordinary teacher
A visit to a traditional Greek school and the opportunity to support educational interaction with teachers of this school for subsequent international projects

Meeting teachers from abroad (especially Czechs, Poles and other course participants)

General education in practice, cooperation, information and communication technologies, tools and applications usable in teaching, in practice and new elements of artificial intelligence for the needs of the teacher’s work

PREPARATION:
After approval by the National Agencies, participants will become members of the project’s Facebook page, prepared by the course lecturers. Thanks to this: they will be able to get to know each other before the start of the course; they will be able to express their expectations from the course, which will allow the organizers to adapt the content to the needs of the participants; they will share their ideas on issues related to accommodation, etc. In addition, a series of materials with the main topics of the course will be sent to the participants.
OBJECTIVES:
The main objective of the course is:
– to familiarize participants with the potential of various web tools that can be used in
– curricular learning and project work;
– to present the possibilities of using ICT resources in teaching so that participants can use the tools creatively in their everyday teaching;
– to demonstrate how ICT mediates new forms of thinking and learning
– artificial intelligence and its benefits for the creation of educational content of teaching with regard to the needs of an innovative school with elements of a modern educational process
– to show how to prepare students for the richness of technologies and cultural diversity of modern society;
– to develop and disseminate innovative pedagogical methods in the use of Internet tools;
– use a new way of acquiring and effectively applying knowledge
– promote educational interaction between participants from different countries – involve school education staff from the host country to interact with the course participants (Andrioti School, Corfu) – visit a local Greek primary school
METHOD:
This course is based on a practical approach to teaching, which will allow participants to acquire the necessary skills for practical implementation. This means that after gaining basic information about the tools, participants will have the opportunity to try them out, come up with new ideas for their use and implement them in the subjects they teach. The tools cover the following topics:
– Presentation tools
– Magic School (using artificial intelligence) and its benefits together with GPT
– Online multimedia presentations using AI
– Drawing, editing, graphics, photo galleries – processed with AI
– Online documents
– Mind maps, collaboration, presentation tools
– Processing text, sound, voice using artificial intelligence
– Quiz, crosswords, tests, puzzles
– Animations and the use of coding and programming elements (Code.org and Scratch, Galaxiada)
– Blogs, portfolios, Wiki
– Basic of animation tools and good practise of animation creativity to support teaching process at school
AFTER COMPLETION OF THE COURSE:
After completing the course, participants will be able to share their designs, upload their own materials, created based on the knowledge and experience gained during the course. In addition, the course website will also include a discussion blog (via the Facebook page), where participants can participate.

Sunday:
– introductory meeting with participants from individual countries
– getting to know the course details
– getting to know the course participants, participants’ experiences with using tools and applications in teaching
– profile of the school of the course participants
– romantic welcome on the hotel roof with a welcome drink 🍸 and a beautiful view
Monday:
– tools for creating presentations (photos)
– basic tools for collaboration (Animoto, ImageShack, Kizoa, Mixbook, PhotoPeach, PictureTrail)
– tools for creating multimedia presentations online (myBrainshark, Prezi, SlideBoom)
In the late afternoon:
– tour of the historical surroundings of the school and collection of digital materials for further course needs
Tuesday:
– tools for drawing, editing, graphics, photo galleries (Slimber, BeFunky, Loona Pix, PhotoFunia, Leonardo.ai, Night cafe)
– tools for collaboration and interaction to support teaching and project work (Embedit.in, webquests in teaching and work with Magic School)
In the afternoon:
– Visit to the ancient fortress inscribed on UNESCO, Paleo Frourio,
Wednesday:
– tools for creating animations
– (Animated Drawing Art using AI, Windows Movie Maker, how to create a gif – Picasion, Gickr, Canva AI tool)
– applications on the tablet
– tools for creating online books and posters (Glogster, issuu, Joomag, Canva)
– video, gif and comic creation (Stop Motion, Make Beliefs Comix)
– Dinner with the course participants to experience real Greek cuisine
Thursday:
– Google Disc and tools for creating online documents:
– documents and sharing
– spreadsheets and sharing
– online forms and sharing
– online presentations and sharing, creating presentations using AI
In afternoon:
– the summer palace of the Austrian Empress Sisi – Achilleion Palace – with bilingual interpretation for the purpose of collecting materials for the training outputs
Friday:
– tools for creating quizzes, crosswords, tests, puzzles (Jigsaw Planet, Puzzle Maker, Quiz Revolution, Word search Maker, Gemini and Chat GPT)
– simple tools – how to increase students’ creativity
– tools for creating mind maps, word clouds (bubbl.us, Wordle)
– use of Chat GPT for teaching the subject taught by each participant and a common bulletin board of this creation
– workshop – participants use their newly acquired skills to create their final works, the output will be an ebook with photos, videos, quizzes and presentations from the course and the places visited in Corfu
In the afternoon:
– sunset yoga practice with a renovated meditation instructor purposes
Saturday:
– blogs, portfolios, Wiki (Blogger, Wikispaces, Word Press)
– workshop – participants use their newly acquired skills to create their final theses. When creating an ebook, course participants use various tools that they have become familiar with during the week
– presentation of the participants’ final theses
– awarding of certificates
In the afternoon, visit to the most beautiful Greek beach Paleokastritsa
